2 Our Services
VanInsurance.com is an insurance comparison service designed to save you time and money when sourcing your insurance. We will endeavour to find you the most competitive quotes, and also provide you with the information required to make an informed decision on which policy best suits your needs. We will source products but do not make recommendations or offer advice. We ask questions in order to source quotations, but you will need to make your own choice about how to proceed.
After completing a quotation online via our website, you agree that you will receive an initial e-mail from us. This e-mail will confirm that you have used our website and that your quotation has been saved for you. You cannot opt out of the receiving the e-mail.

4 Your Responsibilities
In order to get a quote through our price comparison service, you will need to answer a number of questions on our site which cover the full set of questions needed by all the different underlying insurance and financial service providers and any intermediaries they may use. The answers you give will determine the amount you pay and the level of cover you receive. You must get permission from any other people whose details you propose to use in requesting a quote, before you provide us with any of their information. This applies to all information that you provide, but especially sensitive data like health information or criminal proceedings or convictions. In submitting any other person’s details, you are confirming to us that you have their permission to do so, and that they understand how their information will be used.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all information you enter onto Van Insurance is true, accurate and complete and that you disclose all relevant and material facts. If you do not provide accurate information and disclose all relevant facts this could lead to your selected product being invalid and claims may not be paid.
We cannot be held responsible if your selected product is invalid as a result of your error in providing correct information, or from a failure to disclose all material facts to us or your selected provider.
It is important that you read the insurance company’s terms and conditions to check that you understand and agree with them before purchasing your product or service. The insurance company’s terms and conditions will not be the same as ours and they will be the terms which you will be agreeing to when accepting a quotation.
Once you have purchased a product, it is important that you read all documents issued to you by your selected provider and ensure that you are aware of any levels of cover, financial limits and any other terms that apply. Particular attention should be paid to any warranties and conditions as failure to comply with them could invalidate your policy. If any information is not correct, it is your responsibility to identify the mistake and correct this with the provider directly.
If you have any doubt about whether further information about you, which was not requested during the quotation procedure, is required to be disclosed to the insurer please contact the proposed insurer before you accept the quotation.
